We Have Time was recorded at Popsicle Studios in Woodstock Cape Town July 2015. 14 songs were recorded over 15 days, 13 of which were spent in studio.
Hanno met up with Brett and Tim Edwards (Drummer – Jozi – also PE local) one week before the recording commenced having never played as a unit before. All tracks were composed and written by Hanno but most of the drum grooves, basslines and structures were finalized during these jams between the threesome.
We Have Time was produced by Hanno and Brett with producer credit given to Sasha Righini (The Plastics) who tracked and mixed the full album. Additional mixing by Raiven Hansmann. Mastering done by Tutti from Songololo Music. Backup vocals by Mel Mwevi.
